is there such a thing?

Doing a google image search I can only find 5W40

Doesn't exist. It's only sold in 5W40.

That sucks then, thanks for the help

Rotella T5 is a synth blend and can be found in 10w40, however most stores that carry it usually only have the 10w30. I would stick with the T or T6.

I'll just stick with the t6 in 5w I guess

good to know, i like the price of the t6, even cheaper if you bring it back from the states, ive got a hard time swallowing the 60 bucks or so the damn rotella costs.

I'm confused by this message. You said you like the price of the (Rotella) T6 and then say you don'tlike that it costs $60 (which it doesn't...).

He probably meant swallowing the cost of Amsoil ;)

sorry i had some sort of brain malfunction during that message, i actually meant the cost of the motul, i havent priced out the amsoil yet but im sure its about the same. too many brand names in one message, things are getting confusing, lol

not to hijack thread but where can i get oil filters for a 250 ninja? preferably k&n or something? doesnt have to be from Kawasaki

i like running factory filters in my bike, they seem to work, havent heard anything good about fram so id avoid those, and im not sure that k&n are worth the money and hype. why not just run a kawi filter?

its a 250, id just shove an old sock in there and use that as a filter ;)

look for some online and buy them in bulk and save in the long run

I know at least ten people who have done blacklab tests, one at 3000 miles in a twin turbo car, oil was not even broken down was still above average, it became at average wear around 7900 miles in a turbo car, thats 12640 kms, for a 4k motor oil change, its one of the biggest robberies riders can do towars motorcycle oil companies.

I know pilots who told me they have been using Rotella since the 50's and everytime the engineers opened the engines, the airplance engines were like brand new, i'v hear this from pro racers who are actually told to use the T6 in their 1000 hp race cars for the tracks, and even they did a black lab test at 3000 miles the oil was in almost new condition, and nothing bad in the engine either.

Used Mobil 1, Motul, Amsoil, but Rotella T6 craps on all other oil options in what it does and for how little it costs, every two to one jug you get a free oil change from all the oil left over, i do oil changes every 3k, its good to know my oil is still way under its degragation point when i change my oil. 50,000ks of hard riding and my sport bike still run like a beast, destroys all other oil options its like my bike never sees bad oil, broken down, used oil.lol
