I need some minor work done to my bike. Anyone around the Durham (Whitby or Oshawa area) that anyone would recommend that I go to? Just move there recently and Toronto is too far of a drive for me now.

Thanks.

PM Kneedragger88, he's out in Bowmanville... not too far from you!
Very honest and charges a fair rate. Even picks up the bike and drops it off for you so you don't have to travel.
Great service and very knowledgeable.

Im on the other end of town...I like helping out forum members...PM ME....brampton area though...

+1 for Ken, kneedragger88
Very down to earth and honest and veryyyy fair prices.

I've used and liked Clarington Cycle

Looks promising. I'll definately pay them a visit and inquiry.

Dont know who is working at Precision.
Older lookin guy with real scraggly gray hair, Greg I think. He certified my bike. No idea how he is with technical stuff.

Precision is owned by a guy named Vance who used to build bikes for Brooklyn cycle, good guy and he's very particular with who he has working there.

Can't go wrong at Clarington, Kneedragger, WASP or GP Bikes. Ken Livingstone runs the service department at GP Bikes and is a real good guy. Oshawa precision is owned by a guy called Vance. He does all my machine work and is brilliant. Just picked a head up from him this morning. I've never used his service department but he's a bit of a perfectionist so I would think it would be very good as well.

BTW, I am not affiliated with any of the above :)
