Which Pants for hot humid weather?

i wear shorts and tell people skin grows back by itself but leather has to be replaced is it cant grow back.

if you don't want to hear an ear-full every-time you ride i'm sure jeans should be fine. You could try the Kevlar lined riding pants which i don't own.

For the Warmer weather, leather "summer" pants usually have a good deal of perforation while textile pants offer a ton of mesh paneling for exceptional airflow.

Unless you are sitting in the sun; twist the throttle and get some more wind coming at ya!

Safe riding

In hot and humid weather I use A* mesh pants. They have mesh on the front and backs of the legs only, and solid textile elsewhere. They breath ok but don't really cool me down as much as I'd like. I wear shorts underneath. A mesh jacket will have much more cooling effect. There is a point where if you are not moving you get hot quickly. For me it is about 31C. Try to get a lighter colour for your mesh or textile, as black is hot.

when it is really hot i use kevlar jeans. In Dec 2011 i bought all new gear. Got an A* perforated leather jacket. perforated gloves. new shoei helmet. but i got all light colours. white helmet.
mostly white jacket. I must say i had doubts about the leather jacket. pretty heavy and the perforations did not look like they would do much. Was happy to find out that it kept me cooler than
the darker coloured and lighter textile mesh i had been using in prior years. Will never buy black gear again, especially if ment for summer.

I wear light pants and then some armour underneath when warranted....yes it works.

- putting on the knee protectors today and noticed the armour did it's job on that fall last weekend 15-kph on dirt.....this could have been my knee

I tried mesh and kevlar but found the latter hot and the former bulky. I can peel the knee protection off in 10 seconds ( side split pants ) and put it on the same so I have comfie convertibles for off the bike and "some" knee protection.
I like this move to under armor for casual street riding.

I do wish I could find mesh pants that were not so bulky as I love the jacket best $50 I've spent ( bought a JR mesh used ) then an addition $40 or so for the liner.

Whatever you end up getting, you can always benefit from compression under gear, such as Performance Under Gear or VnM Sport Gear.

Try this site. BTW, one of the best sites you will find with tons of how to do it information.. http://motorcycleinfo.calsci.com/

Down the left side under Riding, then under Riding in Extreme heat.

Ended up getting the Joe Rocket phoenix 3.0 pants from the US. For some reason not available in canada.
I already put a few hundreds kms on them and i like them.
