Which companies insure with M1?

Hi

Just wondering which companies will insure the bike with M1 while M2 is waiting to happen in a month or so time?

31 yr old male, 10 + yr G, clean record (i think)
250cc

Call all of them; however I think your best rate will be given from either:

State Farm
The Personal/ Desjardins
or
Rider's Plus

I called up Jevco/Intact recently, I guess they don't want the business given their rates .

Im pretty sure all companies insure riders with M1... M2 is only a few months away.

I think they have a condition you must attend a riding school to be insured.

I think you're right but if someone is a new rider that
might not be a bad thing

when i first got my M1, TD insured me with it; but the condition was that i get my M2 within the 90 days or else my policy was cancelled

Pretty sure all companies have that condition... M1 is only valid for 90 days.

Desjardins told me they only insure m2 riders who have done a course.
