I bought a used bike and the seller only had one key. I want to make an extra and tried wallmart and canadian tire but neither had the right kind of keys. It's for an 84 honda magna and it's a shortish key. Anyone know where i can get a copy made?

At a dealership??

I ordered am authentic suzuki blank off ebay for 5$ and paid 3$ to get it a cut at a locksmith in Pickering town center.
If you're not in a big rush to get one made, this is the best way to go about it imo.

As others have mentioned...I did see many on ebay... lots of choices... I'm sure you can find one matching for you

Just an FYI, Cycleworld cut mine but it was $25 for an authentic Kawi key... eBay or a locksmith, as others have mentioned.

Support your local locksmith :) (not talking about those engraving stores in the malls.. they are not locksmiths)

there is a very good shop on Mary St at Brock in Whitby that can even do the barrel keys

bought blank off ebay, then took to cycleworld to get cut. No locksmith will have your key.

Buy a blank from your dealer and have Crappy Tire cut it. The only thing is that Crappy Tire won't guarantee it. Hard to screw up the cut. They did mine for free... works great.

Just go to a locksmith as has been discussed over and over. Should cost $12 or under.

I got a blank key from Ebay....then I went to the Engraving place in the Bramalea City Centre infront of Cinnabun and asked them to Copy my Original key onto the blank.

The owner came over and advised me he cannot guarantee the new key will work, and charged me nothing for it.

Both keys still work great to this day.

LoL... the guy told me the same thing when he was cutting mine, but I still had to pay :p
OP should of been on this already!
