I've had excellent experiences with Buchanans and ProCycle in the States, so/so with Dubya and horrific with East Coast Wheels. I'd use ProCycle for plug and play. .8 dollar and shipping not cheap any more.
Husqrvana TE 511 is what I chose. Two mods and this bike is seriously fast. Aprilia RXV/SXV, that's a story that ends in tears every time. Stay away! On the cheap, the secret bike would be an older KLX 400 (not the E version). They can be had for 2/3'ds the cost of a DRZ, and many don't realize they are a DRZ made by Suzuki in green. All DRZ parts are bolt on.
Unless you really want a project / spend extra money, you're going to be better served buying a factory made Supermoto. DRZ's are dime a dozen, KLX250SM, WR250X, or a KTM like mine if you really want a project
