Where is this oil coming from and how concerned should I be?

I'd pull the fairing off for a better look. On that note, you might want to repair/reinforce that bottom fairing tab, it looks like it's about to let go.
It looks worse than it is, its superlgued and painted but I have bondo for it

solder iron to melt the crack from the back....use some spare pieces or ABS pipe if it's ABS bodywork...to fill.
