I'm sure the most popular place people use to target bikes are on Kijiji especially when people put their exact address and also happen to live in a condo.

Having someones full name/city, phone number, or someones LinkedIn account pretty much gives the location away as well.

Moral of this story, just get theft insurance for a couple bucks for piece of mind.

As for the original post, just ask security or parking authority where you can park your bike, they tend to be pretty laid back.

I used to go there, I'd actually park it near the back cause there was always a tree that covered my bike perfectly with shade. Me and another 250 would always share that spot. From what I remember most bikers would park in a cluster near the left of the entrance.

I miss the days of such simple parking.... It's not so easy at U of T, plus I always have to worry about morons knocking my bike over now :(.

I thought that was always an issue when you park at school since there are so many idiots that think since there a motorcycle sitting outside, they can freely sit on it and take a pic or lean on it while chatting with others.

Random people sitting on your bike and chatting? Never really seen or heard of that happening. That's a little pathetic lol, taking posing to a whole new level.

What I'm worried about at U of T is a car knocking it over because I usually find a spot on the street to park it. Never had to worry about that at Seneca cause it had a relatively big parking lot dedicated solely to students and staff.

I had a few chicks at Seneca ask to sit on my bike, no one ever did it without my permission. Then again how would I know right?? Haha but it's never been knocked over so all good I guess.

I know this is a somewhat old thread but from what I know they've implanted the new Park & Pay system now with the new gates and all. Are you still able to ride around the gates and just park up near the entrance so long as you don't block any fire exits/etc? I'm just curious because I've got to go up to that campus a couple times this summer.
