Where do you guys mount your plates ????

Can I mount the plate infront of rear shock, On the mud guard? Any where else seems it wont last long. And no Im not putting it on the front number plate
 
Anywhere other than the front number plate is bound to get you hassled if you run into the trail police. I was given the option to fix it or face a ticket when i had it on the back (green plate).

Both the Ganny and SCF are crawling with trail enforcement this time of year. For me it's just not worth the hassle, also I haven't noticed it slowing me down any with it on the front...
 
All the guys I've seen that worry about such things ziptie them to the back of their chest protectors. A second front number plate to use while at the ganny is another option if you are worried about messing up your factory one.

This! I wear a camelback backpack and I just zip tie the plate to that. no problems :)
