Where can I buy a roll of elastic band to custom fit my chest protector?

I was wondering if there are any stores in the gta that would sell a roll of 1-2 inch wide elastic band like they use in mens underwear waistband or like the ones found in back protectors. I've checked ebay but I'd rather buy it locally. I need to attach my chest protector to my backprotector for better fitment. The ladies would probably know this better :D

Wal-Mart or any fabric shop. Use the same stuff for repairing or just keeping my favourite (lucky) goalie equipment fitting right.

National Shoe, Kennedy north of Finch, sells shoe procurement products as well as prosthetic and orthotic supplies. The elastic stretch material you seek is used in prosthetic and orthotic appliances. They will sell to you for cash, just tell them you have your own business.

I don't know your application, but the use of wide elastic has its disadvantages. If you want a tight fit that stays in place you might consider using nylon webbing of the same thickness and velcro closures. The velcro makes it adjustable and you can tighten it up all you want. Elastic will wear our and will move/stretch with not so much force. Nylon webbing is stronger, and can be washed.

I did something similar on my Astars back protector...

Yeah mine was for fitting a knox chest protector on my alpinestars bionic level 2 back protector, didn't feel like spending another $200+ on a back protector with a chest protector or buying a new knox back protector to match the knox chest protector. In the end it worked out well...

I thought of that, but I like elastic better if it wears out maybe in a year, i'll just buy another $3 roll or buy a back protector that also has chest protector attached
