Ok, I took a passenger for a ride. The trip was great no issues. on the way back at times when i tried to accelerate the throttle would not respond, and the engine would bog and cut out. (happened 6 times in a row)

This also happened once on the highway, when i was riding by myself, when i tried to accelerate through traffic and merge.

most of the occurrences happened when i was in 2nd/3rd gear road speeds around 50-60Km/h... Highway 100km/h

I took my bike to Niagara the night before and had no issues.

-For fuel I only use Esso 94 or Shell 91.

Note: i just got my bike back from repairs, was rear ended and the bike tipped over.

Please help... :(

Kinked fuel line? Bad plugs?

Start simple ... check your air filter and intake duct first. Sandpaper from body repair?

If that's not it check the tank vent and the fuel line from the tank like invictus / scary said.

If neither of those pan out you're looking at an involved diagnosis.

Had a friend with exact same problem same year bike, he put some injector cleaner in and it resolved the issue.

If it cuts when you accelerate hard in any gear and is steadily getting worse then change your plugs.

Just recently experienced the exact same thing on my 07 cbr1000. Changed the plus and bike runs like brand new. Mind you its 100$ and change for the 4 plugs alone

Instead of replacing the plugs, you could just sand the carbon off of them really well and reinstall. I've been running the same plugs forever using this method, no harm done.

That won't help if the plug is carbon tracked. Sandblasting a plug that is works short term. The only long term solution if a plug is misfiring is replacement.

I've tried cleaning fouled plugs and dirty plugs and I don't have much luck with it. I don't know if it's because the plug is poorly functioning to begin with and starts to foul or if the fouling just can't be cleaned off..but when you're trying to diagnose, it's a lot safer to just replace them.

You mentioned you were rear ended and the bike tipped over. Could it be a faulty tip over sensor? Just throwing it out there. No idea.
