Hey everybody,
I'm soon going to be a rider in Thornhill and was just wondering what insurance companies I should go with... I'm 18 getting my M1 exit course done sometime in mid-October.

Give Jevco a call. That's who I'm with. I'm 34, have a 250 and I'm only paying $1266 a year. The age might be a factor of course but you should check them out and get a quote. I have no driving record either and they had no problems hooking me up.
Welcome to the forum... I hate seeing young people get nailed to the wall like this. Car insurance has always been rediculous, but motorcycle insurance was always affordable.
When I was 16 (30 years ago), insurance on my kz650 was $180 a year. Liability only. My broker told me it was so cheap (compared to car insurance) because the only one you're going to hurt is yourself. Liability hasn't changed. Thirty years later, I'm paying $530 a year for my R1100S with full collision and comprehensive. Insurance company is Meloche Monnex - part of TD Insurance. You can get an online quote via the following URL or enter Meloche Monnex Motorcycle Insurance in a search engine:
Insurance companies are ripping you guys blind. Get creative on a few factors to see the effect. Sorry if it looks like I'm rubbing it in. I just wanted you guys to know what you should be paying.
