ok.
im not a comic nerd. never really collected comic books and all that.
i do however like Batman the best.
Only superhero I could ever stand.
A ****** off billionare playboy that fights crime..... sounds good to me.

having said that... what the hell is with all these ****** superhero movies?
i can understand the popular ones.....but whats with all these new ones?
some of these superheros i never even heard of.
whats next? Vinny Chase in Aquaman?

Green Lantern - really?
Green Hornet? - who?
Hulk? - can we think of any other colour than green? perhaps?
Thor - cummon man!
Captian America - really? how super of hero are you that you have a gun. what is so superhero about that? the only reason this will be watched is b/c of the "american" flavour.

as far as i am concerned.....
Batman,Spiderman,Ironman,X-Men - were the only good superhero movies.

agree? disagree?
fan? not a fan?
discuss.

all the superhero movies that are out or came out is a build up for the one in May 2012 Avengers. They got to make money somehow so they're milking it.

Im not realy into D.C. comics/movie productions. Im more of a Marvel when I was younger so it kinda got stuck.

Spiderman is being re-booted I believe.

the Hulk can only be green!!!

Batman = all of them sux!. except for the last one.
spiderman = a o.k.
Xmen = depends which movie but they're not all bad
Thor - was good
Captain america - actually liked it.
Iron man - was great
Green Lantern - kinda stupid ( but ill wait for the next one when he fights Senestro).

i have more but i forgot some of them.

Superhero fatigue has set in for me. I don't have any interest in watching any more.

The ones I liked:
X-Men (the original 3)
the new Batman series
Iron Man I
Spiderman I - but only because of Willem Dafoe. He was great as Green Goblin.

Hollywood is bankrupt for good ideas and there's so little risk tolerance, they won't invest the money to make more movies like Inception. So we end up with run after run of Superhero movies.

That being said, I haven't seen anything so far this summer. And I am a big superhero movie fan.

Captain America looks really good. If they did it right, it can be a really dark story.

I heard First Class was way better than expected. I think they were trying to redeem themselves after Wolverine.

whats next? Vinny Chase in Aquaman?

Dunno about Vinny Chase, but Aquaman is in pre-pre-pre-production. You should be able to go stand in line late 2015-early 2016

Ever since that slump they had a few years ago, it seems that the major studios are pretty gun shy about taking risks on new ideas....so instead they opt to put as much money into the sure fire hits (ie: superhero movies, remakes, reboots, re-hashes, re-imaginings, etc). That's why you're getting all of these goddamn shenanigans....

This is why you need to get into foreign cinema.

13 Assassins.. what an awesome samurai movie.

Old Boy .. one of the best revenge movies ever

The Man From Nowhere

If you don't mind subtitles and want real cinema with character development and super unique plots and story lines.. foreign films is where it's at. Hollywood is just crap now.
