First it was pop in schools, next it was plastic bags, now this:

I am not a gun owner, but this makes me want to run out and buy one. Why can't these guys get their heads out of their butts and run the city? These products are legal, if someone wants to ban them, leave it up to the big boy governments.

Any bets on what stupid proposal they will come up with next?

The ********* is just trying to get his name in the headlines. He knows this would get shot down in an instant.

Firearms are a federal government responsibility. Municipalities can ban discharge, that's about all.

Think about it. A guy from Oakville wants to go hunting in The Kawarthas. He has to detour around Toronto????? Of course we could hire a bunch of people to for "Special situation committees" to cover that. Taxes and fees extra.

Well, at least the cops would have to give up radar checks to stop everyone every day to search their vehicles for amunition.

I think their focus is stores selling "guns and ammo" Although I don't know of any store in the city of Toronto that sells fire arms ammo or any combo of. In fact I think the nearest store that sells that type of product is Bass Pro and Target sports....

I say we should all carry paintball guns now.

I can't decide what hurts my brain more. The idea that this would have any impact AT ALL on gun violence in the city, or the fact that this is a transparent knee-jerk reaction to the Eaton Centre shooting.

this councillor is so absurd and illogical i wonder if he has ****** off some toronto gangs and they will soon bust a cap. lol

His old man must be rolling in his grave.

Let's ban iron, steel, lead and brass from Toronto! That will take care of the gun problem
