whats happening on the fort erie speedway / track?

i haven't heard anything lately about the speedway / track (proposed) to be built in fort erie. is it dead? stalled? just wondering.

They have broke ground on the creek relocation project which is a requirement for building the track. Only started work a few months back if I recall.

ty for the update. yes, looks to be moving ahead. i was surprised to learn the oval will be only 0.7 mile (~1.1 km). i'm not a big nascar fan, but that is a small oval. road course to be 2 miles. lets all hope for a bike friendly circuit.
