this issue was discussed several years ago, and there was a lot of support for creating massive urban green spaces with communal plots to grow food.

it would require quite a commitment to demo and clear all of those abandoned buildings, but heck, no one is using them now, and i can't see urban renewal happening any other way. . .

So in for zombie land! If it was up today it would be a really popular attraction. It would make great corporate retreats. Lots of people are stressed out in the very demanding corporate world. Nothing better than killing something to get the stress out.
