What is the point of this thread?
Note: Class M2 and Class M licence holders may also drive Class G vehicles under the conditions that apply to a Class G1 licence holder.

I'm not sure what it does to the G1 time limits though. You'd have to check that.
I'm guessing that you should have written your G1 at the same, time to start your year of holding it.
In fact I thought that I wasn't given a choice in the matter, even though I already had my G.
