The speedo on an R1 only displays up to 299 (even if you're going faster). If you watch in the video 299km/h is indicated around 12,900rpm but he continues up to 13,500rpm. The bike is electronically limited (in stock form) to 298 real world KM/H (not indicated). If the gauge would have went over 299km/h it would have indicated 316 km/h when it electronically limited him around the 2min mark of the video (at a real speed of 298km/h).

The top speed on the SL63 AMG is electronically limited to 250km/h so likely it's nowhere near "stock"
