What happens when you get an improper left turn ticket on yonge for two demerit points then you hire a paralegel to fight the ticket for you (pay him $200 bucks) and when the court date comes he misses it and then you get a letter from the ministry to pay up the fine within a month now...

Who is liable here? I put this all on the paralegel and now he missed the court date...

Can the court date be extended now or something?

I still yet have to call him and confront him about this

If i remember reading correctly, if you can prove that he missed the court date and it wasn't your fault, you can still get another court date.

There are others here who are definitely more knowledable than I, when it comes to legal matters. Hope they chime in.
