What else would be the point of having the cbc? That 15 minute show probably gets more views then any other show they have.
 
Everybody recognises that he's just a sideshow clown. His departure wouldn't be lamented at all.
 
Does Quebecor (the sun) report on anything other than the CBC these days? :cool:

I think you're right. Hockey Night in Canada is their #1 viewed show and Coaches Corner is probably the highest rated part of the night.

Coaches Corner is the only part of the broadcast that I DON'T watch. Some of the things that come out of Cherry's mouth are an embarrassment and put him into Rush Limbaugh territory. Get rid of him. Replace him with a bucket of pucks - more interesting to watch and more intelligent to listen to.

No. Viewership drops during intermissions. Coachs Corner only drops slightly less than the intermission without him in it. This was actually detailed in a study at one point.
