Thought I will share my route and experience to Killarney park on SS (zx6r). Here is the route I took:
http://maps.google.ca/maps?saddr=Mi...&gl=ca&mra=dme&mrsp=5&sz=11&t=m&dirflg=d&z=14
The route I took has alot of twisties especially Peninsula Rd. Mine got ruined because an unmarked opp cruiser appeared from no where and I had to behave. Somethings to keep in mind is that there is alot of gravel on the roads so gotta be very careful in turns. Sight fixation got me to ride into other lane during a turn but I managed to get out unhurt and that's because I saw gravel and panicked!!
When I almost got there (probably 20 km shy of Killarney park) I kinda fell at a Shell gas station and my left leg got pinned between the concrete platform and the bike (I had to save the bike). A 14 year girl and some construction dude helped me raise the bike. I can't thank enough. My leg almost broke close to the ankle and now it is swollen. Anyways I took a short break and continued my journey and made it to Killarney park eventually (otherwise the world would have come to a stop if I didn't!!!). But trust me it was a **** shifting gears. Everytime I had to shift gear I would scream in my helmet just to absorb the pain.
Things that helped me:
- magnetic tank bag
- throttle lock (this thing is amazing)
