Weird noise while breaking? (honda cbr600rr)

Hi guys. The bike in question is a 2005 honda cbr600rr. As some of you know, I was repairing my brothers bike after its first crash. Anyways, the repair was all done after a lot of hard work (new fairing kit). Took it for a test ride to check for shakes/wobbles.

A weird noise is coming while breaking in 1st gear. I took a video of it (see below). Put your volume up to hear it. The bike was going in 1st gear during the entire video and was breaking from roughly 70km/hr to 10km/hr and a clicking/rattling sound was heard. The front rim is slightly bent...but I don't think it is because of that or is it? This did not use to happen before the crash :(

Any ideas whats causing this and possibly the resolution? Thanks in advance!

Also, I rarely if ever would be in first gear at such speeds while slowing down, so its not really an issue. The bike does not behave like this if I am slowing down from 2nd gear and downshift to 1st at around 20km/hr while breaking.

Nonetheless, I dont think this should be happening and want to figure out why!

Something's DEFINITELY breaking or already broken, yes. To me it sounds like a rotor is badly bent and the pins are loosened or bent. Don't ride that bike, the brakes may fail on you or lock up. It also kinda sounds like chain slap when the rear wheel is locked up, but it appears to be turning so it's unlikely. Get it looked at.

holy hell man, i don't need to turn up the sound to hear that, i pinched my chair cushion with my asscheeks while i was cringing!
Step away from the bike and get someone to look at that before you mill the rim any more......geeez man.....

If the rim is bent, most likely the rotors are. That's dangerous..

The crash was a head on collision with an SUV. The front fairing (upper cowl) broke, along with the front fender, and a slightly bent rim. Also, I am pretty sure the fairing stay was misaligned to say the least. Even though I didnt like it, I installed a used knock-off repsol fairing kit on the bike. It was really cheap :-/

The good news is that I test rode the bike around my block a few times later this afternoon and it never did the same thing again. Rode normally.

I'm still going to take it to a mechanic next week. Have them maybe test ride it and possibly diagnose a problem if any.

mmmm I had an issue with the cheap knock off Repsol kit on my bike, were the front wheel fairing was warped (poor quality) and was making contact with the rotor...

most likely if the wheels bent, and so is the rotor due to the crash... I would get that checked out ASAP
