As the title states.... myself and two other riders are heading down to pa to enjoy some twistys.
We are leaving the morn of friday june 21srt and coming back on the sunday. We are three and I would like to have 1-2 more to make it more fun.We all like to ride pretty aggressive but not stupid,so if you ride a sport bike or sport tourer and are able to tag along post up.Of course consideration will be given to any rider wanting to come that I already know but random works also.
We will get breakfast at feezes diner and hit the roads, ride all day with lunch of course and after the days ride a nice dinner with a few frescos and do it again next day.

I will be there with a full tank and new rear tire!

Wish I could make it guy's... I have the crew in from Japan.
If your planning on going again this year count me in!

Ride safe!

i wish i could have come. feeling so sad. muskoka is starting to get boring.

you have no idea what a great time 1200 kms of pure pleasure did wykoff run 3times which is 15 minutes of pure twistys similiar to snake. Was hilarious I got chased by some redneck hillbilly in a pickup truck that got angry after a pass toyed with him letting himreal me in then blasting ahead in the corners he almost crashed three times taking out other cars. Also saw a fellow gtam'er I know pulled over by the popo, I hope he got out of that situation. Roads here no traffic at some points no cars for 5/10 min.

That was our group of four you saw. We got picked off by a State trooper on Friday for 75 in a 50 zone, two of us bolted ahead whilst the other two were being cited another cop came looking for us and rounded us all up together. We had a great conversation with him and he let us go with $45 fines each with no record or points lol. Saturday morning the leader got pinched again doing 80 when you saw us. Had a pleasant conversation with the State trooper and got off with a warning. The cops here are great. We're staying in Dubois and heading back to the gta today. These roads are amazing!

Yes Face I knew it was you and was actually thinking of stopping but thought it could possibly effect the outcome of your situation.Good to hear you made out okay and I knew you were alright cause I saw you guys again on wykoff run.

We had no trouble at all and found some fantastic roads great time with good people and the weather not a drop super warm and zero winds.

BTW had a chance to go super squid while there in shorts, flip flops tank top and no lid!!!! HAHA

Can't wait to go down to PA again, thinking maybe in 2 -3 weeks. So maybe I will keep this thread alive to organize the next one

I thought 70 mph was the state speed limit in PA, regardless of what's posted? Seriously I'm a pretty conservative rider, but if you are not doing at least 15 mph over on most of these roads, you are going to be run off by some good ol' boy in his big pick up truck. However watch your speed when you hit the NY border - last time down I got nailed for doing 72 mph in a 55 on 219 just after crossing into NY. My bad - I know 219 in NY is one big speed trap and I warn the people I ride with. Pled by mail and haven't even got the ticket back yet - so don't know what the fine will be, but riding like a saint in NY for the next little while.

If you haven't already tried it - when riding down from Coudersport on 44 - instead of branching off onto 144 towards Renovo - keep straight on 44 towards Jersey Shores - my new favourite route - still a very few rough patches, but mostly freshly paved and amazing twisty sections.

Bandit, you had your fun with rednecks, I had my fun with popo & wildlife. f1mauro covered Friday & Saturday. Sunday a New York local got into the middle of our group, but I was too far ahead & the others made nice. He bailed at the county line. Glad he didn't feel too motivated to go after me.

1 turtle "sprinted" out in front around a corner but he was easy to miss. 2 birds (1 quite large) took a swoop at me requiring a quick head duck, and Bambi also took a run at me. He hit me on the side and went spinning around behind me. I saw a quick blur, felt a little bump on my boot and just rode on with only a slight wobble. When we finished that day I noticed one of my fairing clips had pulled loose and he cracked the mount bracket for my turn signal. Didn't even break the lens. As far as deer incidents go, I got off pretty lucky!

Round trip worked out to just over 1700 kms.

I'll subscribe to this thread, was actually thinking of a Pa run. I work Saturday & get some weekdays off

Total time on GPS - 17:22
total moving time - 15:58
Day 1 - 29c ..Tim's at dundas and walkers to motel 305 km. Check in and head to the gas station. Headed for some twisties, added anther 338 km for a total of 643km. Cold beers and chill for an hour then headed into town for dinner in shorts and a t-shirt no helmets...freaky! Back to the motel for more beers and fireball.
Day 2 - 30c..497 km of more and more and more twisties....got to love a gps and planned routes! Cold beers and dinner, killed the fire ball.
Day 3 - 30c..headed home with some more nice country roads and twisties, small diner for breakfast and home at 11:00 am
Total gps km were 1446
max speed says X30 km but I think the gps is messed :lmao:could have been when I was keeping up with that small plane on the 5 mile straight run.
moving average was 90 km....oh boy...really!

Have all the runs saved for the next one!
Thanks again to kuna and bandit for the great rides and good company!
