Weekend Cottage Getaway Recommandations? Within 3 hours drive from Toronto

Hey guys:

I was wondering if anyone knows a good cottage place to go for a weekend getaway within 3 hours drive from Toronto?

I have found 2 places of interest so far, one is the town of Midland, and the other one is near Sandbanks Provincial park south of Trenton. Has anyone been to these 2 places before?

Please advice.

If i had to choose, id pick sandbanks ..

Been to Sandbanks many times. Great place. Also been to Midland; actually lived there back in the 50's, but don't remember much. I've gone there in the winter to some resorts and it was pretty nice.
