Motorcyclist dies after crash on Hwy. 401 in Scarborough
A motorcyclist has died following a crash on Highway 401 in Scarborough early this morning, Ontario Provincial Police say.

"OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said it is believed the motorcyclist crashed into the back of the pickup truck.
The motorcyclist, a 27-year-old man from Toronto, was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Schmidt said police are investigating whether speed and aggressive driving led to the crash.
“Witnesses that were on scene did report seeing a motorcycle prior to the crash lane-splitting and driving aggressively at high rates of speed. We’re trying to confirm [if] that was in fact the same motorcyclist. That’s part of the ongoing investigation,” Schmidt said."
