Today being the hottest day of the year… or decade, I decided to wear shorts for my ride to work. As I came to my usual parking area, there were not very many open spots left so I had to squeeze my bike in next to a cruiser with a bling bling exhaust system. As I was getting off my bike I found myself a little close to the cruiser but there was still plenty of space for him. Then all of the sudden I feed an intense burning sensation on my left calve. His bling bling exhaust was hot as hell and it totally burned my leg. So the lessons are, do not park too close and avoid wearing shorts.

Also with this heat a big concern is kickstands melting into the ashpalt and falling over.... another reason to not park so close specially today... Also remember your parking pucks today
