Washing helmet liner?

Eewwww. Do you do that fairly regular? I just did mine from riding all last year without wash. Tons of nasty dirt and oil came out of that. Used a Lowes food grade pail with hot water and dish soap. Bunch of rinse cycles and air dry with pedestal fan. Mmmmmm nice.

I wash with baby shampoo. And in between washes, I do a quick once-over with baby wipes after rides.

Yea I hear you, I think a few bikers wear the same underwear up to the date they change the transmission oil on their log book, sometimes longer if synthetics

Get a buff or similar helmet liner thing. Makes things last a little longer between washes.

My Bell 500 liner isn't removable. Will probably never buy a non-removable liner again. I wear a bandana with it every time to absorb oil and sweat. Wouldn't mind getting one pre-cut in a circle for helmets but I would like a decent quality fabric.

my liners aren't removable, but i still half pull them out and give them a good wipe down every few rides.
