was she justified?

Good on her for thinking quick and saving herself and child.

IBFR.

In before....

-Do we need that much guns in Canada?
-Just another violent wet dream for GTAM'ers
-Live by the gun die by the gun
-Do u think it was just to kill a man just for smashing your door?

forgot one:
-Do we get breaking and entering in Canada?

she was talking to 911 for 20 minutes ? and the police still didnt get there in time? how much longer until they showed up ?

not only that, but it took these 2 guys 20 minutes to break into her house ?

Maybe the cancer patient owed weed money to Mr Knife, and they came to collect from the widow.

I'm 100% fine with this shooting, she should not be punished in any fashion.

When seconds count, the cops are only minutes away  On a good note, in Oklahoma, the law allowed her to protect her baby's life and police service policies didn't dictate throwing her into poverty by charging her criminally.

Given the same scenario, I would have used the 20 minutes to throw down some plastic and figure out where the first bullet was going to go.

Oklahoma, not the GTA. That county she's in has 3 deputies to patrol 12,000 square miles, in other words, one deputy for an area 100 km by 100 km.

A good friend lives in South Carolina and rides with a retired SC leo.He was told that if he has to use a firearm to protect himself on his own property, and the person he shoots isn't in his house when taken down,to make sure that he drags him inside before anyone gets there. On the front lawn...problem,inside the house...no problem.Amazing! Btw,when my friend drives a cab when slow at work,he carries a 357 that passengers can see.I like Waterloo.

And how would you justify 18min in Brampton? Unfortunately for that victim, she was unarmed and ended up raped and strangled to death.

They didn't have an address. Short of breaking into every apartment of the building the call was coming from, all at the same time, I'm not sure what they could have done that would have resulted in a different outcome. If there's a tactic for that scenario, what is it?

Yes.

totally justified.

Yeah, cause nobody would notice the drag marks...
