As per the title, I am looking to buy a sporty, fun naked bike anytime this season, fall or over winter. The following are what I have in mind but I am somewhat open to others that I haven't thought of (in no particular order):
1- KTM Superduke or Superduke R
2- KTM SMR (prefer the 990 over the 950 but somewhat open depending on condition, mods and price)
3- Maybe a Speed Triple (never tried one but I hear they're good - the 1050 version please, not the 675 Street Triple)
4- Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200 (I'm far less interested in the 750cc version) though this may be over my mental budget...
5- Tuono?
What I'm not interested in:
1- most bikes smaller than 1000cc (or thereabout) - please, no 600s, 650 twins, big thumpers, etc...
2- hacked-up homemade streetfighter bikes (I don't want someone else's headaches please) or motards
3- salvage or crashed and fixed bikes
4- cruisers (I did say sporty and fun, right? No offence intended to those with cruisers, they're just not for me)
I am definitely leaning more toward a European bike but I will not discount a Japanese bike if it's the right one as I am less familiar with what the Japanese offer in this category.
