Want to sell my car, need advice.

I have never sold a car before and I need some advice.

First, I was debating should I sell it as is, or get it certified? (I am very busy and don't have much free time) Or should I offer both for a different price?

And as for price, there are only 4 cars on the Auto Trader like mine. But all of them don't have the options mine does (Mine is pretty well loaded). They are selling for the 10-11k mark.

To take it to a shop it would probably cost $1500ish to safety and etest it. (The brakes are at the change point, you can get the parts online for around $400, shop wants $1000). The summer tires are getting close to warn out also (Probably get one more summer out of them). Winter tires are on and they are around 80% tread. If I do safety it, I will be ordering the parts and having them installed to save money.

I have a 05 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP with approx 127k, changed both mufflers, and a new battery. Car is loaded, leather, HUD, Nav with touch screen Monsoon system, dual climate control. No sunroof, but I don't think it was an option for the GXP (I could be wrong but I don't think it was). It has the colour shift paint where from one angle it looks blue, and from another it looks green (factory). Body and paint in very good condition. Typical wear marks on the paint in the high use areas. (Under the door, some minor rub marks on the paint but they are not that noticeable. could be buffed out) I have seen more wear on newer cars.

I was thinking about selling for 10k with the safety and etest, or 8k as is. Does that sound reasonable for what is out there? I don't want to go the dealer route with this car. I will need one of those used vehicle packages also right?

Here is a write up on it, the car in the pictures is identical to mine.
