The verdict on this show isn't out for me yet. I love the concept but I don't like any of the characters other than the asian guy.
I am hoping this next season will be better now that they are going to the prison. Michonne better be super badass.

Watched first four episodes of the 2nd season. 1st season was very interesting because it was different. The 2nd season, although still good, does not offer that 'novelty' any more. Will still finish watching the season, but I'm glad I didn't buy it on dvd.

This show gets progressively better, good twists and surprises. The writing/originality really shines halfway through the second season.

I've only watched the first seaosn but the show is very mehhh, for me. It's alright but nothing overly special. Zombies aren't exactly a novel concept. I've seen a million zombie movies before this show. *yawn*

The characters are getting more complex, because there are less and less of them : Carol, farmers' daughters got more screen time, they showed us their personalities

Except Tdog. He is still the token black character in the show, he has almost no lines.
