Just as the title says. Does anyone have any clinics to recommend in Mississauga where the doctor's aren't complete rejects? My family doctor is on vacation until next week.
are you sure you need a doctor?
95% of people who visit doctors don't really need one..
Well I'm not really a doctor, but Im willing to take a look.....
She think men are gross
Yes. I've been having dizziness and vertigo issues for at least a few weeks. I brushed it off because I thought it was post-concussion symptoms, but now I'm thinking it's something else...
Go to the ER. A couple of years ago a woman my wife works with had similar symptons and blamed it on the flu. After a week or so her hubby said enough and took her to the ER. It was an aneurism. (She didn't make it)
Don't piddle around. Just do it. NOW.
Already have, but thanks for the concern. The ER doc did a basic neurological check, and sent me packing. *shrug*
My sis recommended one at Hwy 10 and Queensway, directly across from the hospital. I'll be heading over in a short bit. Thanks everyone!

I hear ya nobbie. Every time I go to the doctor or a hospital I lose a little more faith in our health care system. I'm hoping this clinic will dig a bit deeper and check for inner ear infection or something. I'm not even gonna mention concussion right off the bat. It narrows their focus too much.

If it wasn't for the differences in anatomies I would feel safer with a veterinarian. If you aren't happy with them you can bite them and pee on their floor. Arf, arf. Rant over.
Schook explained that when we look at a pig or a human, we can see the difference instantly. "But, in the biological sense, animals aren't that much different from one another
Another mystery of life has been unraveled, one DNA strand at a time. University of Illinois animal geneticists Lawrence Schook and Jonathan Beever have created a side-by-side comparison of the human genome and the pig genome that reveals remarkable similarities. "We took the human genome, cut it into 173 puzzle pieces and rearranged it to make a pig," said Schook. "Everything matches up perfectly. The pig is genetically very close to humans."

Don't be surprised how much similar we are with animals. I think the rat or pig share 98% of our genes

We have the same muscles and bones in our body. These muscles and bones have the same identical names sometimes. The only difference is length and angle of movement.
I say the difference between a doctor and a vet is one has more liability issues. If I were in trauma, I won;t mind a vet taking a look at me.
Ps. We share alot of diseases with the rat/pig. Thats why they are in our local labs

One big difference is a human's ability to communicate what is happening in his/her body. The vet has to envision what is happening by watching reactions etc.
