Tried using PIA. Could not login to netflix.com when VPN was active with US exit point (invalid username or password). Turned off VPN, logged in at same url (netflix.com/login) with same username and password and it worked (obviously canadian site). Turned on VPN and lost connection to site (took too long to respond). Looks like netflix is blocking access from VPN exit but pretending the problems are on my end.

Anyone try Nord VPN? I have Avast and none of their locations work anymore

I use it. It works well with Amazon Prime Video to spoof the country but 90% of the time it won’t work with Netflix.
That appears to be a method to watch canadian netflix while having the rest of your traffic go through vpn.

Pretty sure they are the providers who got hacked/leaked private info etc. They were considered reliable.
I use PIA, seem ok.
I had PIA before and dropped it as it didn’t work well with BBCiPlayer
