Considering a three days down to Va and WV for the long weekend. The plan is to ride the two most popular routes (33 and 250) in the area, then the skyline drive.

Leaving on Saturday and back on Monday around 3:00PM to beat the border lineup.

Please PM me if interested. So far two of us are going. I would like to get a group no more than 4 riders. It will be 1st come 1st serve. We will probably be staying in Winchester for the two nights.

Saturday's ride down will be through Pa twists. Route will be shorter on the back and it will be half hwy and half twists.

Great weekend.
Thanks Cheu. I got through the border in less than 3 minutes and got caught in the rain again at QEW, we were soaked the whole day anyway.

Only got soaked monday, was perfect weather saturday and sunday.

Never mind about the rain. This was the weekend I rode the hardest. 500 some plus km of none stop action in Sunday along, and my arm and legs are still sore!!!!:)

Actually, I would not complain about the rain on the way home. The great weather for both Saturday and Sunday were well worth the trip.

We were not too far behind you. It took about 30 minutes to cross the border. The rain helped quite a bit when we were waiting so it wasn't too hot standing around as compare to if the sun was out.

No more riding for the next while, I need a break!:D

If I stayed here, it would be 400 km hwy to ride the 100 km of twists, but the other way around would be 100 km of hwy to ride 400 km of twists. I made the right choice! Plus beers and foods are cheaper down there:)

Rain? Soaked? Sounds like you shouldda stayed closer to home Cheu.
