Violent Jerking with Any Throttle

So i just replaced the water pump o-ring on my 97 gsxr 600. Bike was running perfectly after also replacing one of the four carbs. They haven't been synced yet, but the bike runs awesome, aside from the idle jumping a little, nothing major at all. So no leaks, next to no bogging, for almost two weeks. Until the other day.

I went out riding after doing an oil change, bike was perfect, no problems. Stopped at the Brampton flying club for about an hour, started the bike, and started riding home as it began to spit rain. I get to the end of the flying club's driveway and turn, and as i accelerate to get up to speed, the bike starts jerking violently! My first thought for a split second was i was running out of fuel, but this was waaaaay to violent to be running out of fuel. I pulled in the clutch and it would coast normally, no jerking. let the throttle on a little again and it was fine. rode it a bit faster, fine again. so i continued home. Then suddenly it starts doing it again. A total of about 4 episodes on the way home.

Now today i pull it out, starts fine, idles on the choke fine, warms up to temp. I get on, ride it to the end of my street and it does it again as i accelerate into traffic. I rode it back around the block back to my house. It continuously jerked to entire way. I didn't have much room to try and accelerate out of it, but i was more concerned with just getting it home.

The bike sat outside my house for 20 mins while i searched the computer for any info (can' find a thing). I went outside to find a leak of oil under my bike. Again. I just fixed the stupid thing.

So now i'm frustrated, JUST fixed that leak and it was perfect until this jerking started. The only thing i worked on it with was that oil change, which doesn't explain this to me.

PLEASE someone help. Thanks :)

very misleading title lol

im not very mechanical but i dont see the relation between your water pump gasket and the oil leak
or are you saying they are 2 different things?

I was confused to about the water pump and oil leak. The water pump has two parts to it, the gasket for the coolant, and an oring for the oil, because the water pump inserts directly into the engine. The oil only leaks when the bike is on the kickstand, so when the oil overflows out of the oil pan within the engine. I'll post up a picture of the water pump gasket and oring to give a better idea.

As for my violent jerking in the throttle, i doubt there is a relation at all. I figured i'd let you know about it in case it was in some crazy way related.

So the bottom part goes into the engine, you can see the o-ring there, thats what i replaced.

The problem doesn't sound related at all.
Sounds like an ignition misfire, probably plug(s) or coil(s).

Sounds like an ignition missfire.
Plugs and wires time.
When there is no load (idle or clutch in) there is less of a load on the ignition and you are fine.
Once a load is on tue engine the spark jumps and doesn go through the plug. Should just need wires but do the plugs if your in tuere.
If it has coil on plug ignition the you may have a bad coil.
