Is vinyl wrapping a tank a good idea?
Can this be done with the tank in place?
What should I budget for this?

Car Wrap and Window tinting

Can anyone recommend a good car wrap and window tinting shop in the GTA? Thanks!

i had mine wrapped with the tank in place but it depends on the bike. i rode my bike there so they could check it out first.
i did a matte black wrap with gold logo decal and some accentuating lines (they're the same colour here but i think the flash from camera illuminated the logo a bit)

got mine done at oneautostudio in north york. they mainly do cars but also occasionally bikes.

pros: cheaper than a professional paint job
cons: won't last forever (they say approximately 5 years but depends on how you take care of it)

Agree. The tank wrap looks great. I am disappointed that ducati left the cylinders grey. Imo, they would look better black (or gold).

I just bought candy red wrap from VVIVID off Amazon. Gonna watch some YouTube allstars then try it myself on an old tank.

I didn't end up doing it, however, Eric (I believe that was his name) seemed knowledgeable and their rate for the tank on my FZ07 was reasonable (about half of what two other places in Mississauga wanted)...
