wow.......great glove! I wore mine home tonight.......in my car......lmao!!!

great fit, comfortable, tons of protection.

Can't say enough good about them.
And anyone that has met Jimmy, knows first hand, he's extremely friendly and helpful. I never felt pressured into buying anything, and felt welcome from the first PM/e-mail, to when I walked through the front door and met Jimmy in person.

Great idea to start a review thread on these gloves.

I have had the VR-pro gauntlet gloves for a few weeks now and a few hundred kilometers. Took me 2-3 rides (several hours of riding) to get them fully broken in. By 'broken in' I mean getting softer, as it was pretty hard on my pinky finger on the first ride. Now the gloves are as comfortable as my other gloves. I find VR-Pro gloves have much better protection than say my Joe Rocket gloves, but extra armor and extra thickness does not affect the comfort. Sometimes I wish I should have signed up for the shorty gloves group buy too just because on the hot days it's pretty hot wearing gauntlet style gloves. Thanks Jimmy!

yea I tried alot of gloves on in the past, and nothing compared to how these feel. I mean obviously leather will stretch a bit when they break in, but for inital comfort they are outstanding.

picked them up yesterday and rode with them in that sahara heat blast we had for about 1.5 hours. Can't comment on fit yet as I'm still breaking them in, but the perforation is great compared to my held phantoms.

Picked mine up today and plan on breaking them in over the next few days. However, I will say the feel, look and quality is top notch and going forward Velocity is definitely my choice for gear!

Picked mine up yesterday, A+++ Jimmy is a stand up guy, great service and a great product!

I love those gloves. They breathe so well compared to my AGV ones. Probably won't be much fun in the winter, but work great in the summer :)

Used them for about 4,000km's so far, absolutely excellent glove, holding up flawlessly.

Only issue I have with them is that most seams are stitched on the outside. Especially the fingers. The feel the outside seams has is incredible but are outside seams not considerably more vulnerable than inside?

Overall though i agree amazing glove. Really tight at the start but im breaking them in nicely

Arrived home from vacation to find them in my pile of mail. Beautiful! Nice tight fit, which I expect will work in nicely. Really nice gloves. Crazy-good for the money. Can't wait to break them in.

Not a bad looking glove. Bit cheaper than the HELD Titans... but do they have any perf?

I suspect you'd be even happier with the full kangaroo ones, they are thinner, weigh less, and don't hold sweat like cowhide does for some reason..

Pretty sure Velocity gloves have Kangaroo palms. Didn't notice perferation but they have a nice material between the fingers that lets the air through and feels so awesome on these hot days.

I tried them on for a session at Calabogie on Monday. Noticed right away better ventilation than current gloves.
But god damn are they tight .. I know Jimmy you told me theyd loosen up.

Ill wear them on a few street rides .. hopefully that will do the trick.

One trick to speed up breaking in - soak wet your gloves on a hot summer weekend, put them on and do your errands (mow the lawn, etc). By the time they dry - they will fit like a "glove' :)
I don't own Velocity gloves but it worked for me for all leather gloves I own.

Yeah, i've done that in my Held Titans and the kangaroo just doesnt stretch.... i wish it did i need a half size larger. Only in the palm though, fingertips are perfect

As for the Velocity, yea those are just kangaroo palm.... they also make a FULL 'roo version (tops of the fingers roo, etc) ... the helds are 100% kangaroo except where the stingray is. They are lighter than anything and don't get that sloppy grainy feel that cowhide does when it gets wet (think of a cheap work glove)

.
Good to know - my new Held Airstream have roo palm but I just let them break in naturally

Loved them...until they got wet.

After drying them out they are incredibly uncomfortable while riding :(

Have you re-broke em in? I rubbed mine down with "saddle soap" and they came right back to life :)

Will have to try to find that. Where did you get yours? Do you rub it on the outside only?
