Veld, Caribana or Osheaga?

ridiculous amount of artists coming this weekend. I've never checked out a Caribana party and I hear they're so much fun. Veld's main stage lineup for saturday looks amazing (lake/KNIFE/aoki/woods!) and the sunday tent looks solid (alyfila/gareth/cosmic!) .

Osheaga is equally rediculous: metric, keys, JUSTICE!, KNIFE!, sigur, florence, city and colour, mgmt, bloc party, weeknd, gartner, asap rocky, classified!, airborne toxic event (best band in the whole world) , young galaxy !

Are you going to any of these events?

you're a lot less likely to get stabbed or hit by an errant bullet in a place filled with kids high on MDMA listening to electronic music
 
I have to work Caribana, but I'd pick veld hands down if I had the choice. Honestly, Caribana is fun and the mixed girls that go are ridiculous. And black girls can DANCE...so I'd urge you to go just to check it out. You could always hit up Veld later in the day.

Tickets are gonna be expensive af for veld, but I can guarantee that you can snipe sunday tickets from the people too burnt out from partying on the Saturday.

But the biggest plus about Osheaga is that the nightlife will be popping more than usual (which is already wild, since it's Montreal). The same could be said about Caribana, but it would depend if that was your crowd. All these people fly in from different parts of the world, so either would be nuts.
 
caribana is a joke compared to the others...dont bother.

i would personally hit VELD, because Andy C and Dj Hype are going. Aoki always puts on a wicked show. the rest are meh...in my opinion.

its going to be absolute insanity. those guys are perfection. Hype and Andy rarely come to canada, maybe 2 times a year...to have em both in the same festi...omfg

I think you are confusing veld with wemf. That's in two weeks ;). I don't see hype and andy on the lineup.

Caribana is so not my crowd, which is why I want to check it out (the parties) . Osheaga would make a good day trip...

most likely I'll end up somewhere on the outskirts of downsview though.
 
Bassnectar used to throw some ridiculous sets. Dunno, heaven't heard him in a while, but considering dubstep's direction he is probably mixing One Direction in his sets :)
