UVIP required for a Motocross Bike?

Sorry for the really dumb question.

I'm selling my son's MX bike. I was wondering id I needed a UVIP or not.

Thanks

If it has registration paper, then yes. That's required by the MTO. No registration, why the hell you would even have a UVIP?

I've always had to get one when transferring dirt bikes. When selling I always buy one and when buying I always purchase one before I hand over payment.

Depends on if the buyer wants it or not.

Technically the seller is supposed to provide it but I've purchased vehicles without one and they just made me pay for it at the MTO. What is strange is they made me pay for it but then I didn't actually use it for anything? There is a vehicle sale portion but since I had a sales agreement written on paper, it wasn't required. They did accuse me of writing the bill of sale myself, right there in the office, since just coincidentally the agreement I had was on MTO paper (previous owner's mother worked at an MTO and had stolen one of their paper pads which the owner used to write up the sale without even noticing). Still let me register it with my "fake" bill of sale lol.

Wtf? That mto worker got some nerve.... Its not their job to even monitor bill of sales. I would have told them its a bill of sale and it can be made anywhere even on a toilet paper.

No wonder ppl hate government workers. Slow and inefficient yet like to think they have authority.
