US Address.com

use them regularly. the short guy is a twerp.
it simple, cheap, and easy. don't expect wonderful servive though. be happy if you get a small smile.

Used them once, didn't like them. Bitchy staff, unorganized, seemed to add on charges for nothing. Maybe I caught them on a bad day.

I've used SCC in port huron a number of times and they are good, but the shopping is better in Buffalo

Used them. Good staff and service. Very busy and get annoyed easily with people cuz they ask a lot of stupid questions all the time. Give them a few minutes and try to be nice and they'll give excellent service.

I use CBI in niagara falls. Never had any issssues and great service

Been using them a few times a year since 05 or so. Never had any issues or problems with them. Close to the border so you can zip over and back in no time.

Anyone use these guys yet?

Interested in hearing peoples experiences with them and going thru the borders to pickup.

What's the cost?

I've been using Kinek. $10 flat fee to pick up a package and everything I've ordered so far has had free delivery within US.

As for crossing the border I've had nothing but excellent experiences. Always declare, half the time I'm told to have a nice day and just keep driving. It is somewhat of an inconvenience to get there and back so I don't always chose to go this route so it depends on what the cost to ship directly to me is.

US is 5/pckge. you have 7 days to pick it up otherwise there are "late" fees. oversized items are also surcharged.

i know it takes an effort, but go in with a smile, wait you turn, and be polite. i've spent a lot of time there, and they get treated like dirt. people yell, get angry, are rude, demanding and so on. i would hate to work there.

be respectful. don't take their knives/pens etc. without asking. bring american money. just b/c they are close to the border, doesnt mean they have to take canadian. don't leave your trash everywhere. if you can, email or call ahead, and they'll pull your package for you and set it aside.

it may seem disorganized, but i've hepled them unload trucks while waiting, and they've got everything laid out very well.

as ive said. the short guy is a twerp. he's a prick.

^^ screw the late charges

CBI will let u keep the package for as long as you want. Just call them if you plan on keeping the package there for longer than 3 months so they dont throw it out.

and its 6 bucks flat fee unless its an over-sized item.

I've never had an issue in the 6-8 trips I've made there. Really though, if you want to be treated respectfully, do the same. And they move truckloads of boxes in December so be for-warned.

CBI has good and friendly service plus they let you keep the packages there for a long time so you can pick up everything at once. Just got home from CBI :)

Used their services a number of times and was always treated respectfully. If you are heading there on a weekend, check ahead the border wait times, one Saturday I was stuck at Lewiston for 3 hrs, while Rainbow Bridge was moving much faster. For a weekend trip, the earlier you go, the quicker you can get across. Comming back, at the border, if you don't have a good story about your visit in the States expect to be challenged. For declared amounts of ~$50 they never asked me to pay taxes.

wow that's amazing they never asked you to pay on $50, lol

Used 'em and they were definitely disorganized 'cause they couldn't find my package for a good 15 minutes. But that was a small price to pay for the savings I had.

The short dude was pretty nice, but that could've been 'cause he found out that they were bicycle parts and he started talking about how he's an avid cyclist. I'd use 'em again.

Just make sure to google for live video feeds of the traffic at whatever borders you're gonna cross. But go early and leave early or go early and leave really late if you want to avoid the traffic.

I use both US address in Lewiston and SCC in Port Huron. Never had a bad experience at either and never had to pay late charges.

Thanks for the info everyone.

Wish I new about this earlier. Lots of Ebay crap that they wouldn't ship to Canada.

Between a buddy and me, we've probably used usaddressinc about a dozen times. Always quick, easy, and no hassle. The blonde girl is cheerful and flirty too.

$5 per package, and I've never been charged a late fee, even though I've had things sitting there for over a week. Last time I picked up a pair of bike tires and didn't even get charged duty at the border.

Great service and will continue to use them. Just wish they were open late on more than just Thursday
