Upcoming dealer demo days?

I know for certain (99.999999% certain) that on Honda, BMW and Harley manu rides you are not responsible for any damages.

I think it might have to do something with who is fetching the bikes ..... Honda, BMW and Harley might be manufacturer's bikes, so something goes wrong it comes out of their pockets, not dealers. Last year, there was a Ducati demo ride at Apex (although I thought this one was Ducati's not dealer's because it was Ducati's truck, so maybe Ducati is exception to the rule), and it was very specificly stated that you are on the hook for everything caused by you or your negligence. A signal light just fell off hanging on a Monster. I didn't notice anything before the ride, but when we got back, I am looking at it .... Got to the lead guy to report it and he was asking me if I kicked it when getting on or off the bike .... obviously not, because everybody would see that (there was tons of people), so he just let it go and duct taped it for the next ride.

On the other hand KTM used to (before the recession hit us) have KTM demo day with KTM North America support and there you were not liable for any damages. But that truck has cost them reportedly around 1 mil./year in costs so it's not inexpensive for them.

You can test ride a Can-Am Spyder RS/RT at the east parking lot at the ontario place until middle of June.

I did and now have a RT.

May sell the KLR, but not sure.

You have been chosen for an exclusive event!

The Can-Am Roadster Demo Event makes you the test pilot. Come test drive a Can-Am Spyder Roadster to experience this one-of-a-kind machine.

After arrival, you will register with the team, view a safety video and enjoy a closed-course trial ride as well as a 20-30 minute ride on the road. Participants will have the chance to demo either the Spyder RT or the RS — or both! If you are new to power sports, two experienced Spyder technicians will be available on site to teach you the basics and ensure that you get the most out of your ride. Passengers are welcomed, however, if you've never ridden a Can-Am Roadster before, we recommend taking a test drive alone to familiarize yourself with the machine before bringing a passenger along for the ride. With passenger, the entire Can-Am Roadster Demo Event experience takes approximately one hour and 30 minutes.

damn, if it wasn't in London I'd prolly be up for that Triumph demo. That's a pretty long haul from Barrie

Oh and the Yamaha demo that was supposed to be Friday at St. Onge in Barrie was postponed due to rain. Said they are rescheduling for a Thursday in June sometime, but it's not up on their site yet.
