I spotted this at Kiosk campsite, Algonquin park, yesterday. German plates. Looks awesome. Euro bike - XT660? The couple got back in and drove off before I could get over to chat with them.

Hard to imagine the kind of tourism that a Unimog camper isn't overkill for. Barren tundra expedition up north, maybe?

Back in NZ I had a work colleague who drove a *real* LandRover through Africa and then up and around and down to SE Asia. Shipped it from Malaysia to NZ. He deserved to have the Jacks & shovels etc mounted on the outside.

There are a few companies that make these ultra off RV's and campers. Certainly not cheap and probably overkill for many of their owners. Like the |GS Adventure bikes that run 5km of gravel roads a year and spend 99.9% of their life on paved roads.
