for anyone that watches UFC via livestream for free, is there any way of recording it ? ( like a dvr or something )

usually you wan watch it live, but by the time the fight is over, the UFC people are already stopping the feeds

anyone have ideas ?
 
Well if you _need_ to watch it live because you're such a hardcore fan, really those steaming sites are the only way. I used to stream my pirate satellite feed to a buddy in the states using shareware software - and that would be your best bet if you know someone with a dish (or who purchased the PPV) that's willing to stream to you.

But it wouldn't make sense to record the crappy live stream - you would be better to download a high def torrent Sunday morning. By 4am there will be many options - go for the 720p versions, you won't be dispaointed!

I connect my laptop to my LCD TV via the VGA port. I've never recorded anything, but that should work.
 
Maybe we could just get a group of people together to go watch it at some place that's showing it. E.g., Boston Pizza or Wild Wing. Fun times! :)
