The video looks interesting... Love the integration between phone, tablet and desktop. They have been trying to push this to corporate users by focusing on performance and security. At the same time, they're thinking of home/personal use. Also it looks like they found some hardware partners and will be coming out with a product in early 2014. I'd give'em a better chance of success than WiMo or RIM. It will depend on getting hardware partners and developers on board. Some things I'd like to see:
1) Direct display to external monitor(s)
2) Still being able to use the touchscreen as an auxiliary control
While Android seems to be crushingly dominant on the market, the OEM's are looking for alternatives. This is one, Tizen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tizen is the other.. We're in for an interesting half-decade in the mobile device sector.
