Architectural designs for twin towers joined by what appears to be a gigantic explosion?? Who could possibly be offended by that?

Oh... Oh, wait. Um, well, at least they're planning to change the design, right??

I personally think it looks cool. Looks like the towers are in the clouds. United Statian's are too sensitive and think the world revolves around them.

That actually looks really cool. I'd want one of the units that sticks out and I'd put a sky floor in:)

No, it is a huge insult to the families of those that died in the the collapse of the twin towers.
Its not something to be laughed at, imagine if it was your father or mother or brother or whatever that had died.
Al Queida terrorists would be jumping up and down with happiness if this got built, a monument to their success.

Doesn't look like an explosion to me, anymore than the Marilyn Monroe buildings looking like her figure...

it will be whatever the most popular nickname for it will be...and i would be afraid that the "exploding towers" might stick...looks cool though...could one tower support the other in case it gets hit?

it looks like the towers are growing tumors....

world sexiest stacked cube building gotta be the Habitat '67

Give me a break... Lol.

whos the architect behind this thing?

I actually like the idea.. Too bad it carries such negative connotations.. Let's see what the updated design will look like.

When it comes to architecture I like symmetry or patterns in design. I seeming randomness of the protrusions in that design are strage to me, I don't like them.

I wish there was a doodle pad i could sketch something on here. Imagine two rectangular towers that are pushed through two upside-down pyramids. Have the two pyramids of the adjacent buildings overlap so you have a bridge between them. A bridge with a flat top you could do all kinds of cool stuff on. Tennis courts, a park, pool, gardens, etc?

And it would look nothing like an explosion.

As someone in the architecture field I actually really like the design... its cool :) I understand it could be offensive but I think they did a good job with it. Structurally I would really like to see further details.

The inside looks pretty funky eh.

Yeah it does. I would like to see them put the buildings to some positive use. But I can tell ya now the cost of that design alone will mean it isn't a go.

But wanna see what kind of cool **** is getting built world wide go here.
