Tupac hologram at Coachella!!!!

Yeah i was watching this live last night. Could not believe what I was seeing. Literally had to stare at my screen for 39 seconds to realize what was going on.

Cant wait till a BIGGIE hologram. And ofc, undoubtedly an MJ one will come too. Surreal technology.

Even as a hologram, more talent than any rapper in the game right now

For real!! It's why the newest song on my pod is from like 2004. I miss the days when rappers weren't sponsored by geico, mountain dew and preparation h!

I bet hologram tupac's so awesome, he probably took like four chicks back to the hotel that night

ugh... that was pretty f****n cool but the geek in me cringes at the term "hologram". This isn't a hologram, it's a transparent projection screen that's all. I blame CNN, Fox, those guys... for making everyone think we have this technology

Yeah! You tell em!

Amazing!

Is it still considered a Live performance?

The greatest trick Tupac ever pulled is convincing the world that hologram technology is that advanced.

Don't worry, holographic technology will be here one day if the pr0n industry has anything to say about it

I sit here anxiously waiting for the day this tech becomes a household item. I'm going to need a lot more swiffer wet jet pads.

Everyone sooo hypnotized about this. its stock footage that you could have watched before. they didn't somehow make a new performance. download some of the live concerts he did, and watch those. this is stupid since snoop dogg and dre are rats n 2pac would never have rapped with them in 2012!

Im not hating on it just stating a fact :)

Is it?

"If that makes the creation of a holographic Shakur seem easy, it's not -- especially because the virtual Shakur's performance was not based on archival footage.
"This is not him performing at some point, this is completely original, exclusive performance only for Coachella and that audience," Ed Ulbrich, chief creative officer at Digital Domain told Bloomberg.

And because Shakur was a real person with a devoted fan following, it was crucial to get all his mannerisms, the tone of his voice, the placement of his tattoos, etc., correct."
