Tubeless tires with tubes?

My wheels have spokes, and therefore I need innertubes.

But can I use a tubless tire with an innertube?

What's the actual difference between tube-type and tubeless tires?


(Tube, tube... say it enough times and it stops sounding like a real word.)

The difference is in the bead area, there is nothing structurally different in the carcass or tread. FYI, using a tube in a tubeless tire will lower the speed rating by 1 letter i.e. V rating down to H.

There's absolutely no problem using tubes in a tubeless tire.

The only problem you'll find is the bead is harder to break if you're changing it yourself.
