Triumph 900 GT

I have a 2022. Nice bike. Expensive, but not Italian or German expensive. ( but I came from a Weestrom ).
I haven’t had any complaints, except the cost of the valve servicing, the cutout they have in the levers, to make sure they snap a a particular point, and the small for me size of the windscreen (6’2”, 240#, long torso). The thin plastic hand guards and bash plate are useless on mine. Good speed, acceleration and turning. Front Tire size on mine is rare for road tires. Cruise and other controls work pretty well and are handy. Not sure if a better Bluetooth bike connection is available now.
There’s a new 800 out which might tick all the boxes and has more hp than mine. The 900 has also changed somewhat.

Mine’s been around Lake Superior with some Harleys, and down to Virginia/West Virginia and Vermont a couple of times, as well as bumming around Ontario. Also did a couple of courses with it. All in all a good bike, with no surprises.

I'm also looking at the GT low. I see GP has a used model in black that i'm going to send an email and request pricing.

Big difference in the low is that it’s difficult to get a centre stand and the lower turning clearance.

I haven't been paying attention and had no idea they had bumped the displacement on the 800. I saw Tiger 900 and was thinking of the bike from 30 years ago

I'm just starting my search, trying to find the features is a bit of a pain. they seem to differ from each model in the 900 gt series. Would like to find one that's already been decked out with the luggage acc. plus needs CC

You have a Honda AT? You don't like it or want to add another bike?

I'm looking at trying to find comfort, and get my feet on the ground. I bought an OE lower seat for the AT. hoping it helps with flat footing the bike.

I can't even get an hr on the bike and it's already killing my arse, one of the most uncomfortable bike i have ever owned

I thought the seat was pretty good on the AT, I have no actual experience on it just from reading.
Had similar problem with the stock vStrom seat, the new Corbin fixed that, but pricey.
I have no problem touching the ground though :p

Maybe look into a custom seat? May be cheaper then a replacement bike.
