Transport a bike

Hey guys, I'm a newbie, any ways I've got a couple of questions. First off, I would like to transport a bike I am buying from Georgia to Mississauga, I'd like to know how much it would run me, as I do not have a car or trailer that I can use, so ideas on methods would be nice. I'm an M1 rider and making a small project since I love working on engines, being that I worked on many different cars. It would be a basic winter project. Also when does M2 testing start, and is it possible for service Canada to give temporary license plates to motorcycles? As I am aware they do for cars. Next, how much would insurance for a 19 year old with an M1 riding a 1985 Honda Rebel 250cc run at? Finally how do insurance companies usually look at your chance of being insured? Do they look at your driving record too?
