Cool. I've driven around Borden countless times but never attempted to go in. I just assumed it was off limits.

Those jets got driven down from collingwood a few months ago. Of course, some drunk asshat drove around police cars and crashed in the procession. Thankfully they didn't hit a plane.

They have a fleet of older snowbird jets as well, I’ll get pics of those later

I usually enter from lisle side, I have security clearance to be on the base and other government facilities👍

Although it’s still an active airfield, wasn’t allowed to go on the runway 😂

If you open the pic with the jets in a row, and look real close you will see way down the line red in colour the older snow bird jets, must still have some kinda use for them as they’re covered with tarps

I've driven into and around the Borden and Trenton base several times for business purposes. Only ONCE have I ever been asked what the purpose of my visits was by some third party person wearing a safety vest. Not even asked for ID, and this was at Borden which is the "lesser" base of the two.
Quite surprising actually.

Interesting. Get close enough to see a rail yard and rail police are normally all over you in seconds and they aren't very friendly.

My mom grew up close enough to trenton that she remembers them taking off and going supersonic daily.

I find it’s who’s on duty that day, seen them turn people at the gate a few times

Anywho if you happen to be in the area and on base.

Go to the end of Lundys lane, that is where the airfield is located

Make sure you don’t go over the speed limit. They will run you off base 100%
